Dancehall sample pack reddit5/16/2023 I wonder if the Roland R8 or Alesis SR16 or 18 could do what you want, though the demos I looked at didn't seem to match the sounds in your youtubes. Some of the sounds on the videos, like the claps, remind me of my old Yamaha rx5, but another digital drum box might be just as good: ![]() I don't know about samplepacks, but it sounds like most of those drum sounds could be made from some kind of '80s/'90s digital drum machine: Dry recordings of real drums, short samples. ![]() ![]() (I am guessing you are asking about the drum sounds in general? Or about some particular percussion sound?) Peace n loveI listened through the 3 youtubes. Thank you so much in advance and bless you all! Here is some examples of what i mean if you are not familiar with the sound of AFRIKA!!! ![]() you know).Īm especially searching for those percussionsounds often used, and maybe a plugin suitable for making those stringstabs often used in modern bashment dancehall. Therefore, i hope some of you could point me in the right direction of some nice synths, samplepacks (am not really looking for loops so when i say samplepack i think of drumsamples. First of all am not sure if i have used the correct forum to post this topic - please admins, feel free to relocate it if it is necessaryĪm really into modern afrobeat, dancehall, azonto, afropop - whatever you wanna call it I have tried to mess around with the style in ableton but i dont really think i got the right sounds/samples for the style am looking for.
